SA380TX-L Firmware Upgrade Support

This page is designed to steer you towards the correct instructions for upgrading your SA380TX-L data logger such that is running the optimal firmware for its operating environment.

Upgrade Guide

Step 1 - Determine current and target firmware, and upgrade method

Upgrade to CENTRIX APPROVED firmware

Use ZIP file:

On site over USB using dPanel.

Upgrade via Centrix.

Step 2 - Find the appropriate files

If you’re upgrading remotely from Centrix, you can skip this step!

Based on the target firmware and upgrade method, download the appropriate file from the firmware downloads page.

Step 3 - Follow the appropriate guide

Using dPanel

Using web config pages

  1. Open the loggers web config pages in your web browser

  2. Navigate to the “Commands” tab and press “Select File…”

  3. Choose the appropriate file for the firmware vintage (ZIP if upgrading from <2699, otherwise UPG)

  4. Press the “Upgrade” button.

The logger may report the upgrade was unsuccessful. If this happens, reload the web page and check the firmware version (“Real-time” tab, “Versions” section) before retrying, as the upgrade may still have succeeded.

Using Centrix

  1. Navigate to the logger page and select the “Firmware” tab.

  2. Click on the latest “Centrix Approved” firmware, and press “Ok”
