SA380TX Master with EBITrack Slaves
This is a simple how to guide illustrating the configuration of an EBITrack connected to an SA380 TX by RS485. Up to six EBITracks can be monitored at any one time using the SA380TX.
Step-by-step setup guide
The following diagram illustrates the physical connection between the data logger and the EBITrack unit:
- From the front screen on the logger, select menu, then Configuration, you will be prompted for your passcode:
- Now ensure that the RS485 bus is configured for EBITrack units:
- Now select "Configure EBITracks" (see note in step 4!):
- Note: on older firmware, this option may not be present, it can be accessed as follows (you'll be prompted for your passcode as above):
- You will be offered a display showing the currently configured EBITrack units, for each of the one you need to configure, follow the next few steps, firstly, select the unit to configure:
- Ensure all items are set as required:
- Push to server should be "Enabled" if you want the data pushed to centrix or the II.
