Summary
Findlay Irvine Logger Support
Centrix now natively supports Findlay Irvine loggers. Once connected, they appear in Centrix in the same way as any other Mimosa logger, with the logger model ‘FI DCU’.
In order to connect Findlay Irvine loggers to Centrix, they must be reconfigured. For more details about doing this, please contact the support desk.
Notes
Centrix now has the ability to save user editable notes on most pages. Notes support has been added to Channels, Loggers, Sites, Assets, Alarms, Alarm Raises, Licenses and Users.
Added notes will be visible to all users who can view the associated page.
We hope this feature will allow users to add in any supporting information you might need about assets, sites, or any of the other supported pages, and reduce the need to keep additional notes outside Centrix, as well as time spent looking things up in other systems.
Using the new Notes component
Most centrix pages now feature a new ‘Notes’ box at the bottom of the page.
To add notes, click the add notes button, add whatever text you like, then click save.
Once saved, the note is visible to all users with permission to view the page.
You can click the note to see the full text, its author, and a full history of every previous note attached to this page.
If you edit a note, the previous version of the note will be shown in the history, including its date and author.
Minor amendments and fixed issues
Centrix now shows all whitespace (new lines, spaces and tabs) on text events in event lists. Previously, leading whitespace characters may have sometimes been hidden.
Fixed an issue where users could see alarm labels they did not have access to.
Exporting syslog messages from the loggers page now correctly includes the description.
Dialled logger log messages now show the comment field.
Long site names can no longer extend off the side screen when using the search tool.
Graphs (on both the inspect page, and asset rail events) can now show digital ‘state’ events, as well as digital transitions.
Deleted assets are no longer shown on the Asset Relations popup.
Related asset list size and styling has been improved.
Fixed some broken Alarm Wizard links.
Playback SSI Alarm list load time has been improved.
Channel view no longer shows loggers for internal channels.
