SA380TX-L Using the Web Config Tool

Firstly open the Web Config Tool for the SA380TX-L.

A page similar to one shown below should be displayed. This is the MPEC Web Config Tool for the TX-L.

 

Next click on the ‘4 to 20’ in the ‘4-20mA Input Value Scaling’ column on the analogue channel that the SA380V-I Signal Conditioner is wired to.

 

This will display the drop down menu shown below. From this drop down list select ‘Inv. Quadratic’ to allow you to enter the quadratic equation that allows data from the sensor to be displayed correctly.

 

You can change the values of the quadratic equation by selecting the boxes highlighted below and typing in the values you wish to use.

 

Enter the numbers highlighted below to set up the selected analogue channel for the rail temperature sensor.

The new sensor should now be set up for this analogue channel. Repeat this process for any of the other analogue channels that the sensor is connected to.
