• MCS systems may be monitored by intercepting the RS422 or RS232monitoring link as shown below (depending on MCS variant) :

• MCS systems utilise an RS422 or RS232 link, therefore isolation and data security is provided through

  • An independent single-direction, isolating RS422 to RS485 converter fed from the isolated power output of the HZS module, or

  • The built in RS232 port isolator incorporated into the HZS modules

• RS422 Isolator and appropriate cables shall be provided if required.

• No additional configuration files are required prior to installation
