Application Notes

  • VHLC Level Crossing devices may be monitored by intercepting the pre-existing RS232 monitoring link as shown below:

Connection of the S-LX system is via a monitoring port. The VHLC system may remain in service during installation.

  • Appropriate RS232 cables shall be provided.

  • No additional configuration files are required prior to installation
