  • Westronic S2 TDM systems may be monitored by intercepting the RS232 monitoring link using one of the two methods shown below depending upon the style of installation (Modem Intercept or Punch-down block):

 

Connection of the S-LX system is via a live data link.

Where 25-Way D-Type connectors are used, the S2 TDM will be briefly inoperable whilst RS232 connections are being made.

Incorrect termination of wiring may prevent system operation.

If in doubt, contact MPEC for technical support.

  • The customer must specify the RS232 wiring arrangement desired to ensure that the correct RS232 cable is provided

  • The customer must supply a list of TDM channel names to MPEC prior to shipment in order to pre-configure the device.

  • The MPEC technical team will liaise with the customer to obtain this information.
