Configuration

The devices are configured by MPEC at manufacture according to the users specification and intended application. They will connect to the MPEC Centrix server which collates the data collected. The configuration interface is provided by Centrix. For a new installation, MPEC will process the specific system configuration files provided by the customer and automatically generate a working configuration. 

Ethernet Interfaces

In installations where the LAN interfaces are unused, MPEC have configured the following:

LAN1: 192.168.100.116/24

LAN2: no connection

Diagnostic Interface

Connection from a web browser http://ip.address.of.device/

The username and password will be provided by MPEC during a support call.

Judicial Event Recording

This is not currently supported.

The data logger can be configured to record data for judicial purposes. For this an external USB stick is required to which the event data is recorded. The USB stick must be removed as follows:

  • Press and hold the push button on the top of the device.

  • Wait for the USB storage light to turn on (indicating that it is safe for removal)

  • Remove the USB storage device

  • Replace with a "new" device.
