Mpec are proud to announce the first release of firmware for the SA380-IT multiple busbar insulation resistance monitoring device in it's "final form". This includes support for Bluetooth connectivity, allowing users to configure and interact with the device from any iOS13+ device using Mpec Connect, available now on the App Store.
See the user guide to get started. This release contains a number of bug fixes and improvements since version 645:
- Improvements to "Autodetect":
- Fixed an issue where autodetect could configure DC connections with negative nominal voltage.
- Fixed an issue where autodetecting busbars wouldn't reset existing fault conditions such as overvoltage.
- Device stability and reliabilty:
- Fixed an issue where the device could lock up and produce large volumes of syslog data.
- Fixed an issue with the earth loop unstable interlock could fail to auto-reset.
- Removed "restart comms" functionality as this could interfere with Bluetooth connectivity; A full device restart should instead be used when troubleshooting.
- Increased the length of the Bluetooth inactivity timeout; The connection will remain active for 10 mins to prevent disconnection while editing the device config.
- Fixed an issue where a failed NTP connection could cause periodic restarts
- Logging and UI improvements:
- Fixed an issue where earth loop measurements didn't appear on the web interface in MIMOSA mode.
- Fixed an issue where the device would send very large values (1.9×10¹²) at the start of the device's initialisation period
