Incoming Data Call Behaviour
It has been noted that the SA380 and SA380TX data-loggers can attempt to answer "phantom incoming data calls" when no inbound call exists.
This firmware release adds the following behaviour:
- Where 3G and above modems are installed, inbound data calls will never be answered, as the modems do not support them. The "CSD" configuration setting has no effect.
- Where 2G modems are installed, the decision to answer an apparent inbound data call is governed by the "CSD" parameter in the advanced XML configuration settings:
Code Block | ||
---|---|---|
| ||
<bearer type="gprs" apn="internet" user="" pass="" csd="0" gsmDisable="0" roaming="1" gsm2G="1" />
csd="1" : Inbound calls will be answered
csd="0" : Inbound calls will be rejected |
The setting is not available on the graphical WebCfg interface, or the device touch-screen.
