- Verify SA380 touch interface:
This logger is set to be a master. First of all it has to be a slave: Press Menu:
press Configuration and enter the hardware configuration passcode:
toggle button saying "I'm a Master" to "I'm a Slave":
press "OK" to restart the logger:
. Next time the logger starts up it should look like: - Set a master unit to send data to:
Press Menu:
Press Configuration:
Enter normal configuration passcode=12345:
Press "RailDAQ slave" button:
Press "Local master" button:
enter master logger's IP address or hostname:
it will display the RailDAQ slave dialog again:
Press Done to save and restart. If the Local master is a hostname rather than an IP address, don't forget to set DNS address to be able to resolve hostname to IP address.
After restart, main page should show Connect to: 10.0.1.1:
Setting up the master logger:
- TX touch interface:
press Menu:
press Configuration:
enter normal configuration passcode=12345:
press "TX Slaves" button:
Please remove any existing slave units by click on them and toggle Enabled to Disabled:
press Save: (goes back to Config dialog without any notice!)
press TX slaves again:
Click on each slave units and set serial numbers. Top left is master unit. Below it: slave #1, then slave #2 then slave #3. Top right is slave #4, slave #5 is below and so on.
Press the first slave button:
toggle "Disabled" to "Enabled":
toggle Type button until it says Type: SA380. Press "Serial" button:
Enter the serial number of the first slave unit (1100) and press Enter:
Press "Save":
repeat the process above until all slave units are set then press "Save": (this wil go back to config dialog without any notice!):
