Setting up the slave logger:

  1. Image Added This logger is set to be a master. First of all it has to be a slave:
    press Menu: Image Added press Configuration and enter the hardware configuration passcode: Image Added toggle button saying "I'm a Master" to "I'm a Slave": Image Added press "OK" to restart the logger:Image Added. Next time the logger starts up it should look like: Image Added
  2. Set a master unit to send data to: Image Added Press Menu: Image Added Press Configuration: Image Added Enter normal configuration passcode=12345: Image Added Press "RailDAQ slave" button: Image Added Press "Local master" button: Image Added enter master logger's IP address or hostname: Image Added it will display the RailDAQ slave dialog again: Image AddedPress Done to save and restart. If the Local master is a hostname rather than an IP address, don't forget to set DNS address to be able to resolve hostname to IP address.
