Summary

Reports

There have been several changes to the improve the appearance and workflow of the report creation and running.

Creating Reports

The entire report creation process; selecting the report type, setting the parameters and receiving the results, all happens in a pop-up dialogue over the reports list rather than on separate web pages.

Report Type Selection

The type selection list is now sortable and searchable. In addition a new column ‘Category’ has been added to group together related reports.

Click on the column header to sort by name or category as desired.

Just start typing in the search field to filter the list by the text in the report type or description.

You can select a category from drop down field to filter the list to only show reports for the selected category.

Selecting a single report type on the reports list before click “Create New Report” will automatically select that report type for creation.

Return to Select Type List from Create Report

The button now returns you to the report type select list rather than the reports list.

Report Parameter Changes

Site Selection

The Site select parameter has been removed from the following reports: Alarm Raise Times, Aspect On Approach, NR/SIN/137, Raw Analogue Events, Raw Digital Events and Sequence Timing.

The reports for Raw Digital Events, Sequence Timing and NR/SIN/137 do not support loading data from multiple sites so the report will now display an error if channels from more than one site are selected.

The other reports list above support loading data from multiple sites.

Sequence Timing & NR/SIN/137

The event sequence on Sequence Timing and NR/SIN/137 reports has been updated and is now more intuitive and easier to use than before.

Raw Digital Events Report

Each event type is selected individually and the labels have been updated to match how digital transitions and states appear elsewhere in Centrix.

Run Report Dialog

When a report is run the user will be presented with a dialog confirming that the requested report is being run.

The dialog will automatically switch to the report ready dialog (see below) when the report is ready. If the report is long running the user has the option to close the dialog and return to the reports list or navigate to the report type select list.

The report ready dialog offers the user options to download the report in available formats, view in Centrix, rerun, navigate to the select report type list or close and return to the reports list.

Rerun navigates to the report create window with the parameters pre-populated. The user is able to change any of the parameters before running the new report.

AZLM Message Count Report

The AZLM Message Count report counts all of the different types of messages seen on an AZLM assets history channel. This report is configured simply by selecting the assets and a date range.

Minor amendments and fixed issues

  • We have improved the feedback when users request data that requires too long to retrieve.

  • Reduced potential errors when creating alarms via the manual track or points wizards.

Addendum 109.3 Hotfix Release

Raw Digital Events Report Improvements

In response to customer feedback the Raw Digital Events report has been updated.

Channel Select All

The Channel select all button has been added back to the Raw Digital Events report.

A Site must be selected first, the Channel selector will then be populated with Channels from the selected Site.
One or more channels can still be selected, alternatively click the select all button and the report will run against every digital channel currently on the selected Site.

Single Hour Report

Previously the Raw Digital Events Report could be run over a single hour, this functionality has been reintroduced as a separate report type.

As with the original Raw Digital Events Report, select a Site and one, many or all Channels.
The Single Hour report requires a date and hour of day to be selected, the report will include events from the selected hour up to the next hour of the day.

SSI Channel Detection

Some SSI Assets were unable to detect all of their TFM channels.
