Channel Selection

When creating or editing an Asset, once a name has been input and a Site has been selected, you can now type or select (from parts of the asset name) a Channel name filter.
The Channel name filter is applied to all of the Channel selectors, making it much easier to identify the relevant Channels for this Asset.
The selector’s filters are still editable as normal, allowing the filter to be added to for Channels with consistent naming patterns or removed completely if it’s not relevant to that Channel.

HPSS

Channel Selection Filter Patterns

In addition to the Channel name filter, we are also able to define a pattern for each Channel for a given Asset type.
Only the HPSS Points (FI DCU) Asset type has channel patterns set, it was done first as it has a lot of Channels.

Each Channel with a filter pattern will use the it to filter the associated Channel selector, optionally combining with the selected Channel name filter can reduce the selectable channels list down to a single Channel and make selecting the right Channels much faster.
In the example below when selecting a Retract Toe LVDT Movement Channel, the selected Channel name filter TK196A has been combined with the pattern (RtToe1 OR RtToe) AND NOT Toe2 and results in a single Channel being listed.
Without the pattern the list would show all 9 Capture Channels with TK196A in the name and without the Channel name filter it would show all 18 Capture Channels that have RtToe1 or RtToe in the name and do not have RtToe2.

Most Recent Traces Graph

The most recent traces graphs on the HPSS Playback page now have aligned y-axes, this will make them much easier to compare as they will have the same scale.

Site Playback

Bulk Channel Selection

The Channel filter on the Playback map now supports bulk selecting all Channels on the page, allowing for faster selection of filtered Channels.
The new row at the top of the list displays the total number of selected Channels, the number selection on the current page and contains the select/deselect all checkbox.

When none of the Channels on the current page are selected the Select All checkbox displays unchecked and clicking it selects all items on the page.

When some but not all of the Channels on the current page are selected the Select All checkbox displays partially checked and clicking it selects all items on the page.
