Summary
Assets
HPSS 1.5 Support
The HPSS Points (FI DCU) asset been updated with new channels some of which are only available on HPSS 1.5 points assets:
Name | Type |
|---|---|
Last Datum Reset Date | Text |
Last Datum Reset Time | Text |
Fault Tolerant | Digital |
Version ID | Analogue |
A new alarm, Fault Tolerant, has also been added. This is a digital state change alarm which raises when the fault tolerant channel transitions from DN to UP, it can be generated from the asset alarms tab:
We have also updated the list of Mimosa Offset data types in Centrix so all new HPSS 1.5 channels can be correctly received from FI DCU loggers and the events saved correctly.
These channels will be added to the HPSS Points (FI DCU) asset along with relevant asset playback page updates and alarms in a future Centrix release.
Hydraulic Points
Hydraulic Points have two new asset channels Hydraulic Pressure Normal and Hydraulic Pressure Reverse to accommodate assets which have been configured with separate Hydraulic Pressure channels for each points swing direction.
All of these changes will improve the configurability of alarms on Hydraulic Points asset as each individual capture channel on the asset can now be configured with a corresponding Points Pressure or Points Motor alarm.
We recommended, for any Hydraulic Points with separate pressure channels, setting these new channels and running them all through the alarm wizard to generate alarms for the new asset channels.
Points Capture Trace Tagging
Previously, all points assets that support capture trace tagging had the option to disable the tagging of capture trace. We have updated this option to instead always tag the asset’s capture traces as “normal”.
This allows the points alarm wizard to be used on those assets, as the wizard will only train alarms on capture trace data with the tag “normal”.
Reports
Consistent Styling
We are updating our reports to have a more consistent style, the following reports have been updated:
Alarm Raise Counts
Alarm Raise Times
Asset Alarms
Bender Unit
EBI Track 400 Maintenance
Loggers Out of Contact
SSI
The new report styling includes a header with the Centrix logo, report name, report parameters and a legend if the report requires one.
Here is the before and after of the Loggers Out of Contact report:

SSI Report
Running an SSI report for the current date has caused some confusion in the past as the missing telegram counts are only guaranteed to be sent by the logger at 23:59:59.999 that day, although they will arive throughout the day if the missing count is high.
The SSI report now marks any missing telegrams counts with “No Data Found” with ** and a corresponding legend entry explains that this data should arrive at the end of the day.
In the example below the “Maintenance Missing Telegrams” are not marked with the ** as the maintenance window start and end times are the same, so there won’t be any maintenance missing telegram counts unless these are set to different times.
State Transition Counts
The State Transition Counts now allows selecting all of the channels on the selected site.
To use this feature, select a site and then click the select all button. Alternatively individual channels can still be selected.
Minor amendments and fixed issues
SSI asset heatmap connected status row displays correctly even when there are many small connection intervals.
Maintenance windows configured against deleted sites now load correctly.
Fixed an issue with the manual alarm wizard that prevented alarms from being saved.
Manual toggles that have never been toggled now load correctly.
Alarms are no longer prevented from being deleted if they belong to a deleted health dashboard.
The alarm list “show only unlabelled” filter is now included in the URL, so it’s state is retained on refresh and if the page’s URL is bookmarked or shared.
Addendum Hotfix 118.2 Release
Hydraulic Points Capture Trace Splitting
The capture trace splitting algorithm has been updated to support pressure traces from Hydraulic Points with noise at the end of the clamp lock section.
