New Features:

Modbus Master:

We have added the capability for the S-LX to read data from commercially available devices which offer modbus support over either Ethernet or RS485. The device can be configured from Centrix, or locally.

The data shown above comes from a system monitoring current draw of a DC railway traction system. The data is reading read by an S-LX connected to a Modbus device.

Other Enhancements:

• "Aquire on change" threshold for analogue channels can now be set via config.
• If SD card fails, device can restart successfully. Note: there's no warning to syslog etc.
• (S-LX Exclusive) Devices can be daisy-chained together over Ethernet. Valid for units shipped post 1st August 2019

Bug Fixes:

• The "serial link idle" indicators have been rearranged to prevent idle -> non-idle transitions at the same timestamp (centrix doens't like it)
• Removed duplicate restart message from reboot code
• Firmware Upgrade reliability enhancement
• Reliability enhancements to guard against faulty behaviour under thermal stress and high computational load.
• Enhanced HTTP authentication
