The device can be wired to the analogue connections of either a SA380TX or SA380TX-L data logging unit.

Warning

THE CHANNELS OF THE SA380V-I ARE SENSITIVE TO OVER VOLTAGE. PLEASE ENSURE ALL TERMINATIONS ARE CORRECT BEFORE CONNECTING THE DEVICE TO THE DATA LOGGER.

To Logger:

Vi (Voltage Input)

Power to this SA380V-I channel. This is to be connected to the data logger’s

analogue channel 24V supply pin (24).

So (4-20mA Output)

4-20mA output of this SA380V-I channel. This is to be connected to the signal in (S)

connection on the analogue channel of the data logger.

0 (Common)            

Common Ground (0).

Power Up

A soon as the device is connected to the 24V output of the data loggers analogue channels it will be powered.

Installation

The unit has the same mounting studs as the MPEC SA380TX and SA380TX-L units. This means it can be mounted on relay bar in the same way.
